We are a family of 5 and we showed up just before closing. Nice lady was able to give us a table on the outside. Both servers that were helping us were young so we set expectations lower. The knowledge about wines was acceptable but she was able to explain most of it. We are not complainers but unfortunately we got wine glasses dirty and bruschetta with hair. Which is a big NO but servers were always smiling and apologized. Food tasted great especially pizza. I will give 5 start just cause of effort of two young ladies.

My favorite spot in Burlington! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu- everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. It's our go-to restaurant for fun cocktails and authentic Italian dishes. I regularly order Express take-out, but just stopped in with some girlfriends after work for a spritz, pizza and a couple apps. The staff is SO friendly and the service is absolutely amazing every time! 20/10 recommend!

Delicious food, their garden salad is amazing pribably my favorite item to order everytime I go, tastes so fresh. Great olive oil/vinegar mixture. They make a great calzone and thin wood oven pizza. Their pastas are very good. Portions are very sizable. The have this homemade hot red pepper infused olive oil (Bomba) and fresh baked bread that is a must try. I pretty much love everything on their menu. Located right across from Spencer Park in downtown Burlington. Great for date night or dinner with the girls. Excellent customer service. Kind and friendly.

What an absolutely beautiful restaurant to hold my 40th birthday celebration. The atmosphere is gorgeous and intimate, perfect for a close gathering with my family and friends. The decor inside and setup was stunning. The stone wall made for a perfect backdrop for our balloon arch and created some beautiful pictures. Such a picturesque restaurant. My gratitude to Nicole and Sonam and the entire wait staff is immense. They are so professional and made every detail for my party a reality and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was OUTSTANDING and so delicious. Every aspect of the menu made all my guests keep going back for more, especially the bruschetta, wow!! The perfectly crafted charcuterie boards were so appealing to the eye and even tastier! Everything was beautifully made and crafted to create a stunning table. The team looked after me and all my guests to ensure we had the best time. Thank you Nicole and Sonam for a perfect evening. We will definitely be coming back! Your restaurant is worth going to over and over again.

The drinks menu is equally impressive, featuring a well-curated selection of wines, beers and craft cocktails that perfectly complement the dishes. Every recommendation made was spot-on, enhancing the overall experience.The bartending staff was personable, fast, and more than wondeful. Really loved it! I got the Spaghetti Primavera, and it was delicious!! I don’t really love zucchini, but in this dish I couldn’t get enough of it, it was super tasty the drinks were really nice as well, very sugary! The waitress was amazing as well, I’d come again for sure! It’s hard to park downtown burlington, there’s a parking lot not too far, and there’s also a Nofrills plaza parking lot 10 min walk away.

My family and I wanted to write a review to personally thank Soanam for providing such a lovely dinner and experience for my Baby Shower. Our guests loved the delicious meal and the service was most excellent. We look forward to having another event at your restaurant, in the not too distant future. We really appreciated the restaurant for allowing us the time to come early to set up and to dismantle, and the way you accommodated those with special dietary requirements. We highly recommend The Express Restaurant for a lunch/dinner or for an event!

We went for a brunch and ordered chicken pizza n gnocchi with some drinks. The food was amazing, drinks were also good. It was sufficient for a family of 2 and a 3yrs kid. The staff was really hospitable.. kudos to the place!! Recommended!!
